Terms of Entry
Hunter Resource Recovery · Living Smart Festival, Speers Point Park · Saturday 19 September 2026
1.Information on how to enter forms part of these terms of entry. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
2.The promoter is Hunter Resource Recovery, ABN 35 071 432 570, ACN 071 432 570, of 43–47 Bulwer Street, Maitland NSW 2320.
3.Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who attend the Living Smart Festival at Speers Point Park on Saturday 19 September 2026. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
4.The entry period is 9:00am to 3:00pm AEST on Saturday 19 September 2026. Entries received outside this period are not valid.
5.To enter, an entrant must: (a) download the Recycle Mate application; (b) select an item from the display at the Hunter Resource Recovery stall; (c) use the application to identify the correct bin for that item; and (d) complete the entry form in full.
6.One entry per person. Where more than one entry is received from the same email address, only the first entry will be retained.
7.There are ten (10) prizes. Each prize is one $50 Visa gift card. The total prize pool value is $500. Gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the card issuer.
8.Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
9.The draw will be conducted at 43–47 Bulwer Street, Maitland NSW 2320 at 10:00am AEST on Tuesday 22 September 2026. Winners will be drawn at random in the presence of two witnesses.
10.Winners will be notified by email within two business days of the draw. Winners’ first names and council areas may be published on the promoter’s communication channels.
11.If a prize remains unclaimed 30 days after the draw, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at the same location at 10:00am AEST on Thursday 22 October 2026. Any winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by email within two business days.
12.The promoter is not responsible for entries that are late, lost, incomplete, or not received due to technical fault, network unavailability, or any other cause outside the promoter’s reasonable control.
13.The promoter collects entrants’ names, email addresses and telephone numbers in order to conduct this promotion and to contact winners. Where an entrant has given consent, their email address will also be used to send recycling information from Hunter Resource Recovery. Consent to receive that information is optional, is not a condition of entry, and may be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
14.Entry information is held in the promoter’s email system and is not sold, rented or disclosed to any third party for marketing purposes. A copy of the promoter’s privacy policy is available free of charge on request by emailing [email protected], or in person at 43–47 Bulwer Street, Maitland NSW 2320 during business hours.
15.The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who does not comply with these terms of entry.
16.This promotion is a trade promotion conducted in accordance with the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW) and the Community Gaming Regulation 2020 (NSW). No authority is required as the total prize value does not exceed $10,000.
