BIN COLLECTIONS
Place your recycling bin at the kerbside by 5.30am on the day of collection or the evening prior with the lid opening towards the roadway.
Leave a minimum of 1 meter between the recycling bin and garbage bin wherever possible to avoid bins being knocked over during servicing. Please keep the bin clear of trees, powerlines and parked vehicles.
RECYCLING BIN NOT COLLECTED?
If your recycling bin is not emptied on the correct day, please contact the Recycling Hotline 1800 838 884 or submit a request through our contact page. Genuine missed services are usually collected within the next two business day or sooner. Please leave your bin kerbside.
Please note our collection vehicles are equipped with technology that tracks and records the time and location of all bin collections and our Contractor is not required to return to service bins that have been missed due to late placement at the kerbside.
The collections truck will not collect bins that have been tagged with Non-Compliance stickers or return to service if contamination has been taken out after the truck has been past your address.
STOLEN OR MISSING BINS, BIN REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS
If your bin is stolen, missing or damaged, please contact the Recycling Hotline on 1800 838 884 or submit a request through our contact page to organise the repairs or replacement where necessary at no charge.
NEW BIN FOR A NEW DWELLING?
If obtaining a bin for a new dwelling all approved dwellings will have an allocated recycling bin as part of the Council Waste Service. The recycling bin always remains the property of Solo Resource Recovery. Each bin is registered to a specific address and must remain with the property when you move.
